We remain committed to the privacy and protection of all data. To provide you with end-to-end encrypted free calls, messaging and other Video call-smart matching services, we ensure that your trust in us is maintained by sharing certain information about you. Therefore, the subsequent documents here explain in a transparent way how we do this.
This Privacy Policy is intended to explain how we collect and process your personal data or information through your use of the Application, including the types of data you provide when using the Application.
Under data protection law, we must provide you with certain information about who we are, how we process your personal data and for what purposes, and your rights concerning your personal data. This information is provided in this document, and it is important to read it.
We review our privacy policy regularly and may update it occasionally. Therefore, please check our privacy policy occasionally for any updates.
The personal data we hold about you must be accurate and current. Please notify us promptly if your data changes during our relationship with you.

Occasionally, our applications may contain links to the websites of our partner networks and affiliates. Please note that these websites and any services accessible through them have their privacy policies, which users must read before submitting any personal data to these websites or using these services.
Through full and completely secure end-to-end encryption, we may collect, use, store and transmit different types of personal data about you, details of which are as follows:
- Identity information: nickname, avatar (avatar optional)
- Device data: mobile phone number used by the device, your mobile operating system (Android or iOS only), time zone settings, log files, crashes, performance reports, etc. Registering with our system to keep the Application is always technically feasible.
- Content data: includes information stored on your device, including friends lists, end-to-end encrypted photos, videos or other digital content, etc., so you can share such content with other Video call-smart matching users.
- Personal data: including your username
-Usage Data: includes details of your use of any of our applications or visits to any of our websites, including but not limited to traffic data and other communication data, whether necessary for our billing purposes or otherwise.
- Messaging data: messages from users, which our end-to-end encryption service protects by encrypting them (including chat, phone and multimedia content such as photos, videos and voice messages) and retaining them on our systems for up to 30 days before the point of delivery.
- Call data: using end-to-end encrypted call records generated by our Application. The call data will display a date and time stamp. Please note that we never store or record your conversations or call-related information.
- Status data: information about your status while using our App, which is also automatically updated in our system, including your online/offline status and your most recent use of our service (last seen).
- Location data: This includes your current location, which you can choose to share with your contacts on the App when you use the location-sharing feature available in the App. This will only be done with your explicit permission. We never track locations in the background.
We will collect and process the following data about you.
- Information that you provide to us. This information includes identity, contact and communication data, which you agree to provide to us about yourself by filling in forms on the application website or service websites (collectively our websites) or by contacting us by email or chat. It also includes reports of any other issues you may have with registering to use the app site, downloading or registering the App, subscribing to any of our services, searching for the App or services, sharing data through the social media features of the App, entering contests, promotions or surveys or other common activities related to the App, including bug reports and any other issues with the App, our services, objectionable content, etc. If you contact us, we will keep a record of that communication.
- Information we collect about you and your device. Each time you access or use one of our applications, we will automatically process the personal data specified in the above paragraph in a secure and end-to-end encrypted manner.
- Location data. When you use the location-sharing feature available in the App, you can choose to share your location with your contacts on the App. To do this, we use GPS technology to determine your current location in a fully encrypted manner. This service will be done with your explicit permission. We never track locations in the background.
We will only process your data as long as we are legally allowed. Most commonly, we process your personal data in the following circumstances.
-Where you have given your consent before processing.
-Where we must perform a contract, which we will enter or have entered with you.
-Where necessary for our legitimate interests (or the legitimate interests of a third party) and your interests.
-Where we are required to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.
We process your data as described above to improve, customise and optimise our services.
This information helps us to understand how our services are used; we evaluate and upgrade our services in response to your requests. In addition, we use your information to respond to your queries.
To ensure users do not violate our terms of service/use, including using our services for any purpose which is unlawful in any activity, all accounts and their activities are verified with end-to-end encryption.
Commercial messages: We will allow businesses to communicate with you for commercial purposes such as booking information, transactions, product orders and delivery notifications.
In addition, we use this information for the following purposes:
- Connecting you with your friends and family.
- To analyse your preferences and personalise your account accordingly.
- To report regular updates and changes you make in the Application or any associated part.
- Make the experience free from suspicious or illegal activity.
- Promote our services and expand the Video call-smart matching community.
- Eliminate technical errors and improve the overall experience.
- To provide you with customer support to effectively resolve issues that arise while using the Application.

While using the Application, certain third parties may also provide us with certain information about you. Typically, this will include your friends on our app, who will automatically provide you with your phone number when contacting you. Similarly, any profile details, including your name, phone number or any other personal details you make public, will be available for storage or use by other app users. Any messages sent to other users using the service will also be available for them to use however they prefer. You are, therefore, responsible for not disclosing any information that may be sensitive to you.
Similarly, when you involve third-party services on our Application, such as sharing some of your Video call-smart matching activity on their platform, we may receive some data about you that these services may have. In addition, some of the analytics performed on users may be shared with third-party providers for our marketing and commercial needs to optimise the resources invested. Please note that such third party privacy policies and terms apply to using shared information and not too Video call-smart matchings.
We do not store your messages or communications. If you decide to store your Video call-smart matching messages on third-party cloud storage (such as Google Drive or iCloud) at your discretion, please note that in such cases, the privacy policies and terms of use of such third-party services will be in effect at the time of your use of their services.
We may share your data once you have consented to our sister companies or if we undergo a merger or organisational restructuring.
We ensure that your data is protected by requiring all our group companies to follow the same rules when processing your data. These rules are known as the "binding corporate rules".
All communications between you and Video call-smart matching will be stored for record-keeping, including feedback, suggestions, bug reports, reports of objectionable content, or any conversations via the app or other contact methods (including email or website contact forms) and continuous improvement purposes.
As our applications are extensively involved in exchanging information, we understand the importance of protecting that information. For this reason, we have placed the best security protocols in the structure of our applications, including end-to-end encryption of your messages. End-to-end encryption means no one can access your private conversations other than the message generator and intended recipient. The protocol covers end-to-end encrypted one-to-one calls, so no accidental third party can eavesdrop.
All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Let's send you an OTP (which is temporary and only valid for a limited period). You are responsible for keeping this OTP confidential. We ask that you do not share this temporary OTP with anyone.
Once we have received your information, we will use reasonable procedures and security features to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed unauthorised.
Your data is stored directly in your device storage.
We have procedures in place to deal with any suspected personal data breaches. We will notify you and any applicable regulatory authorities when required by law.
Suppose we add payment functionality to our applications at any time in the future (in which case you will be notified in advance). In that case, any payment transactions facilitated by us or our chosen third-party payment processing service provider will be encrypted using appropriate encryption technology.
We retain your data for up to 30 days using secure end-to-end encryption. Beyond this period, we will not store your data on our servers.
However, we may be legally required to retain some basic information about our customers, including contact details, identity etc. In such cases, we must comply with the law, and if we do so, we will retain as little data as possible and as short a time as required by law.
Our end-to-end encryption service protects your messages (including chats, phone calls and multimedia content such as photos, videos and voice messages) by encrypting them and keeping them on our system until the point of delivery, which is a maximum of 7 days. However, your device may accumulate sent and received messages independently. For more information on securing your chat, please read the 'Data Security section.
In some cases, we may anonymise your personal data (so that it is no longer associated with you) for research or statistical purposes, in which case we may use this information indefinitely without notice.
As a Comera user, you are free to control, change, delete or primary; manage your information whenever and wherever you want. More detailed information about your account information is provided below.
Information accessibility: information such as your profile name, photos, online status, status messages, recently viewed items, or phone numbers may be accessible to people who use our services. You can go to Service Settings to manage who can view, store or share your personal information.
Account deletion: If you delete your account, your messages will also be deleted, including undelivered messages. We will also delete any other data we are not legally required to retain. Even undelivered messages will be removed from our system after 30 days.
Settings: You can change the information available to others at any time. You can use the block function to prevent certain users from making contact.
In some cases, you have the following rights concerning your personal data under data protection law.
- To request access to your data.

- To request the erasure of your data.
- To object to the processing of your data.
- To request the restriction of your data.
- Request for the transfer of your data.

We neither allow nor encourage children under 16 to use the Application. If you, as a parent, wish to set up an account for such a minor, you must do so with your credentials and under your supervision. In essence, we do not knowingly store any personal information about any minors.
Our Privacy Policy and any relationship between you concerning your use of our Application and we are governed by and construed following the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
A dispute arising out of any feature/part of the Application or any provision of the Privacy Policy shall be resolved as follows.
Approaching Video call-smart matching: You will email the details of your dispute/complaint to the email address provided in the contact section, and Comera will attempt to satisfy you or resolve your claim to your attention within 3 months of the date of receipt of your complaint/dispute. Your email must clearly state the following details.
- Your name
- Operational contact details (email address, telephone number, postal address, etc.)
- Details of the claim and any steps you have taken yourself to rectify the issue at hand
- What remedy or redress are you seeking from Video call-smart matchings for the inconvenience caused to you
Suppose the above paragraph does not resolve your complaint or dispute. In that case, the dispute shall be referred to the Abu Dhabi courts for final resolution. In addition, if you are a subscriber to the Services located in the United States or Canada, we agree that all matters of the complaint will be resolved through individual litigation in the Abu Dhabi courts and not as a class action in any court or tribunal. We agree that no merger disputes or disputes involving any third party/entity exists.
Similarly, if we have a claim, complaint or dispute against you, we may, at our sole discretion, bring such claim or complaint in the courts of the user/your place of residence or in the courts of Abu Dhabi, whichever we deem convenient.
By clicking the "Accept" button linked to this document and our Application, you ("User") acknowledge and agree to the terms and policies set out in this document, our terms of use and any updates to these terms from time to time. You also agree that these policies and documents apply to all information you provide to us regularly throughout your use of the Application. The policies set forth will also govern any information collected through your actions or the initiative of any third party.
Lawful basis means based on the law that governs this Privacy Policy.
Consent means the agreement to this Privacy Policy or any updates from time to time. You agree with us and consent to this Privacy Policy by accessing, downloading, or using our applications.
Legitimate interest means the interest of our business in conducting and managing our business so that we can provide you with the best service/product and the best and safest experience. Before processing your data for our legitimate interests, we ensure that we consider and balance any potential impact (positive and negative) on you with your rights.
Performance of a contract means processing your data to the extent necessary to perform the contract to which you are a party or taking steps at your request before entering into such a contract.
Compliance with a legal obligation means processing your data to the extent necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject.
Internal third parties such as our subsidiaries, subsidiaries, parent companies or affiliates.
External third parties: Service providers who are processors located in or outside your country of residence and provide IT and system administration services.
Professional advisors, including lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurance companies located in or outside your country of residence, provide advisory, banking, legal, insurance and accounting services.
We can prohibit you from using our products when you meet the following conditions.
1.expose your genitals while using our App Services
2.promote religious beliefs that are not permitted by law while using our App Services
3.use our App to engage in illegal activities
4.violating the image and reputation of others
5.Other violations of local laws and regulations
